The Sabaki River Mouth is a renowned estuary just five miles north of Malindi and two hours drive north of Mombassa on the Kenya coast. The river mouth includes intertidal mud and sand flats as
well as salt marshes, dunes, seasonal and permanent freshwater pools, mangroves and scrub.
The site is well known for birds such as the Malindi Pipit, Madagascar Pratincole and Zanzibar Red Bishop and has been designated as an Important Bird Area (IBA).
Visit the Sabaki River Mouth for:
