- Nature Net, a monthly newsletter with news, event updates, natural history features and the latest on environmental issues and conservation work
- Free entry to National Museums and Museum sites that are open to the public. There are more than 16 Museums and Museum sites that you can access with the use of your membership card. These include the Nairobi National Museum, Fort Jesus, Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site, the Kisumu and Kitale Museums
- Access to the Library, which is managed inconjunction with the National Museums. Established in 1910, it has one of the best collections in the region of natural history – sciences books , journals, periodical titles and reprints in Botany, Ornithology, Osteology, Ichthyology, Biodiversity, Archaeology, Mammalogy, Herpetology, Anthropology, Paleontology and others.

‘Research and volunteer’ opportunities
There are opportunities with the National Museums of Kenya, such as the annual water bird counts in January and July each year. They take place in wetlands in Rift Valley like Lakes Nakuru , Naivasha and Elementaita.
